change your environment, open a window, turn something on that stays consistent (white noise, music, air conditioning)
repetition calms your system, fold something, move something (re-organize), walk the same loop, wash a cup and focus only on that, your body relaxes when it knows what’s coming next
look at something still, or close your eyes, this tells your brain to settle
don’t force stillness, if your body is wired, don’t fight it; instead move slowly
no screens for the first hour of your day (phones, tv), even if you have little time in the mornings, carve out 5 minutes for yourself (drink your coffee, read your book, or do nothing at all) THIS MATTERS
